Coming up on the 21st of May The Inner Ear Poetry Jam will be holding its annual birthday bash @ Full circle Brewery in downtown Fresno and you don't want to miss it! Headlining will be def poetry artist Denizen Kane and music by the ever popular 40 Watt Hype, plus Gabe Rola, featured poets David Campos, G.F.T.D 1 and a whole lot more. 15$ at the door or save a few buck for beer and get your advanced tickets @ Full Circle Brewery, The Fresno arts council, or Palominos restaurant in the Tower district for only 12$. The Rogue festival is on its way. Fresno annual Fringe festival is growing into a theatrical behemoth that is drawing amazing acts from all over the country. This year Cap'n Scurvy's Apocalypse Hoedown Revival will be making an appearance at the show Lions tigers and Burlesque on the 5th of March  @ 10pm, and RTP guy Scurvy will be performing with the Fresno's own brand new spoken word troupe "Parking lot Profits" at The Starline on March 6th @ midnight.

Parking lot profits is an amazing verbal collective of well known fixtures on the local poetry scene including Bryan Medina, MB, David Campos and Mike Medrano. The Rogue late night will also include The Rogue favorite Lyn Ruth Miller, the comedy of Jaguar Bennett, the music of Oregon based band Illegitimus, and a set from Black Light Poet G.F.T.D 1. Red Triangle Artist Scurvy will now be appearing regularly as the co-host of the Inner Ear Poetry Jam with Bryan Medina every 3rd Thursday of the month in Fresno's illustrious tourist free China town. Check their profile here for more info.

On the 24th at Full circle Brewery in Fresno;  for the 1st time ever on stage, Cap'n Scurvy's Apocalypse Hoedown Revival stormed the audience with guerilla theater! An old time huckster medicine show from the guys that brought you other stuff that was also funny and entertaining. Also on hand was Burlesque show from Valley Burlesque society and other variety performers in the tradition of Vaudeville. If you like banjos dancing girls and tawdry humor you missed out!
